Your privacy, explained clearly

Privacy Policy

This policy explains the privacy practices disclosed for the Private VPN Proxy Android app and the separate data flows that occur when you visit privatevpnproxy.app.

Effective August 8, 2026 Last updated August 8, 2026
Policy summary

The current Google Play Data Safety disclosure states that the Android app does not collect data or share data with third parties. Delivering a VPN still requires transient processing of supported traffic while the tunnel is active. The website’s desktop network-information bar separately contacts external IP-information providers.

01

Scope and who is responsible

This Privacy Policy applies to the Private VPN Proxy Android application, the privatevpnproxy.app website and support communications relating to the product. Google Play currently lists Node Stack as the app publisher. Fusion Byte Studio maintains this website; the footer identifies that website role separately.

Other websites, app stores and services linked from the app or website operate under their own privacy policies. This policy does not control their independent practices.

02

How the VPN service works

When you choose to connect, the app uses Android VPN functionality to create an encrypted tunnel between your device and a selected VPN server. Network traffic covered by the connection travels through that tunnel so the requested VPN feature can be delivered.

VPN availability, performance and accessible locations may vary according to device, server, network and regional conditions. A VPN can improve connection privacy, but no service can guarantee complete anonymity or absolute security.

03

Information and data flows

The current public disclosures distinguish between transient VPN processing and information you choose to send:

  • VPN traffic: supported traffic is processed transiently through the selected VPN infrastructure while the connection is active.
  • Support information: if you email support, the recipient receives your email address, message and any details or attachments you choose to include.
  • Website IP lookup: on desktop-sized screens, the browser sends your public IP address to an IP-information provider to display the network bar.
  • Advertising: the current Google Play listing identifies the app as containing ads. The listing's Data Safety section separately states that the app does not collect data or share data with third parties.
  • Store transactions: Google Play handles app distribution and any store-based payment that may be offered, under Google's own terms and privacy practices.

The app does not require account registration. If a store-based payment is offered, payment-card details are handled by Google Play or its payment provider and are not entered into this website.

04

VPN traffic handling

Supported internet traffic must be transmitted through the selected VPN infrastructure while the connection is active. That operational processing is necessary to deliver the tunnel and is not the same as retaining a browsing-history profile. The current Google Play Data Safety disclosure states that app data is not collected or shared and that data is encrypted in transit.

Destination websites, services and other network participants may still collect information under their own policies. You should use the service only for lawful and responsible activity.

05

Website network-information lookup

On desktop-sized screens, the website can display your public IP address, country code, internet service provider and autonomous system number. To provide this display, your browser contacts IP-information services such as IPify, IPWho and IP.SB. Those requests disclose your public IP address to the selected provider.

The result is shown in your browser and is not used by this website to hide or change your IP address. Each provider applies its own privacy practices. The lookup is not loaded in the mobile layout.

06

How the disclosed information is used

Information from the specific flows described above is used to:

  • route supported traffic through the VPN while you are connected;
  • display the public network information requested by the website feature;
  • respond to support, privacy or security messages you send;
  • allow Google Play to administer app distribution and any store-based payment;
  • meet applicable legal obligations.
07

Device permissions

The app requires network access and Android’s VPN-service capability to create a VPN connection. It may request notification access when needed to show connection status or service controls. Available permissions can vary by Android version and app release.

You can review or change app permissions through Android settings. Restricting a permission may prevent the related feature from working correctly.

08

Third-party services and infrastructure

The service relies on VPN hosting and network infrastructure to carry supported traffic while you are connected. Google Play distributes the Android app and may process store activity as an independent provider under Google's policies.

The website loads Plus Jakarta Sans through Google Fonts and uses IPify, IPWho or IP.SB for the optional desktop network-information display. Website hosting providers may also process standard request logs under their own operational and security practices. The current Google Play listing provides the authoritative product-specific Data Safety disclosure.

09

When information may be disclosed

Information you voluntarily provide, or information processed by an independent provider, may be disclosed only as reasonably necessary:

  • to the provider that must perform the requested website, store, hosting or support function;
  • to comply with applicable law, legal process or a valid government request;
  • to protect users, infrastructure or the public from a security threat; or
  • to investigate fraud, abuse or violations of applicable terms.
10

Data retention

The current Google Play disclosure states that the app does not collect data, so it does not provide an in-app data-deletion mechanism. VPN traffic is processed to carry the active tunnel and is not described here as a retained browsing history.

Support messages you send are retained only as long as needed to answer the request, protect the service or meet legal obligations. Local app settings can generally be removed by clearing app storage or uninstalling the app. Google Play and the website's independent providers apply their own retention practices.

11

International processing

VPN infrastructure, website providers, Google Play and support services may operate outside the country where you live. As a result, the limited processing described in this policy can occur in jurisdictions with different privacy laws. Each independent provider is responsible for the safeguards described in its policy.

12

Security

Reasonable technical and organizational measures are used to protect information and maintain service security. These measures may include encrypted transport, access controls, monitoring and restricted provider access.

No internet transmission, VPN, device or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Keep Android and the app updated, protect access to your device and report suspected security issues promptly.

13

Your choices and privacy rights

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may be able to:

  • request access to, correction of or deletion of information associated with you;
  • object to or restrict certain processing;
  • withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;
  • manage device permissions and notification preferences;
  • clear local app data or uninstall the app;
  • manage any applicable Google Play purchase or subscription; and
  • submit a complaint to an appropriate privacy regulator.

For an app-support or app-privacy request, email the support address published on Google Play: malaikaabubakar03@gmail.com. For a website-specific privacy question, email hello@fusionbyte.studio. The recipient may need to verify the request and may retain the correspondence where permitted or required by law.

14

Children’s privacy

The Google Play listing currently rates the app for Everyone. Children should use the app only with appropriate parent or guardian involvement and in accordance with Google Play and local rules. If you believe a child sent personal information through a support channel, contact the relevant support address so the message can be reviewed.

15

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when the app, website, providers or legal requirements change. The revised version will be posted at this URL with a new “Last updated” date. Material changes may also be communicated through the app or another appropriate channel.

16
